This personal data privacy policy has been written by Coopo, whose registered office is located at 153 chemin du ruisseau 38190 Laval-en Belledonne, France, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended (known as the "Loi informatique et libertés" or "LIL"), and the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") No. 2016/679. 

Coopo is required to collect your personal data when you visit the website Coopo.fr and, as such, Coopo is considered the data controller for your data.  

Coopo undertakes to limit the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary (data minimization).   

The hosting of the platform is provided by Framer with an optimal level of security. This means, in particular, that physical access to systems is rigorously controlled, that software and systems are monitored, patched, and updated with the relevant security upgrades, and that anti-intrusion measures are used to prevent attacks.

SECTION 1 – What types of personal data do we collect and for what purpose?   

1 - Cookies: in order to improve the site's interactivity and our services, connection trackers, known as "cookies," are placed on your computer, mobile, or tablet. You can technically block them using your browser settings, but your experience on the site may be degraded. Furthermore, you have the option to object to the use of audience measurement trackers strictly necessary for the operation and routine administration activities of the website in the cookie management window. 

2 - Contact Form: the data must be provided; otherwise, we cannot respond to your request. These are: Last name, first name, status, email address, organization. We use this information solely for the purpose of responding to your contact request. 

3 – Newsletter Form: the data must be provided; otherwise, we cannot respond to your newsletter request. The only data processed is the email address. 

SECTION 2 – What is the legal basis for processing your data?   

We collect and process your personal data in compliance with regulations and only under the following legal bases:  

  • Consent: When you agree to receive commercial or promotional communications from Coopo or when you accept optional cookies

  • Legitimate interest: When you provide us with personal information via the contact form or for essential cookies. 

SECTION 3 – Who do we share your data with?  

Your personal data is not communicated outside the various departments of Coopo, our partners in the framework of cookie management (Brevo) and the contact form (Google), and the website host. Under no circumstances do we sell or rent your personal data to third parties, and there is no data transfer outside the European Union.  

SECTION 4 – How long is your personal data kept?  

We retain your personal data only for a reasonably necessary period:  

  • Data transmitted via the contact form: the duration is 3 years from the last contact;  

  • Newsletter contact data: Until consent is withdrawn or 3 years from the last contact;  

  • Cookies: the storage of your choices regarding cookie consent is 12 months, and cookies placed during consent expire after 13 months; 

SECTION 5 – What are your rights? 

We guarantee you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request that this information be rectified, restricted, or deleted. You can also request a copy of your personal data or object to its processing. 

We have appointed a data protection officer whom you can contact for any questions relating to the processing of your personal data and to exercise your rights at the following addresses. You can exercise these rights by contacting Coopo:

For any request or information regarding the exercise of your rights, you must indicate your first and last name; we will contact you to obtain further information and possibly proof of identity depending on your request (the latter will be destroyed once the right has been exercised). It is essential to state precisely the right you wish to exercise, as well as your email or postal address so we can contact you back. We will respond to this request within one month, except in cases of particular difficulty.  

SECTION 6 – Complaints

SECTION 7 – Amendments to the privacy policy
